๐ฒ Two players. One double-six set. Fast math. First to 150 wins.
๐ The deal
- Shake all 28 tiles face down. Each player takes 7 (or 9 if the table says so). The rest is the boneyard.
- First hand of a game: whoever holds the highest double leads it. That's 6|6 if it was dealt, or else 5|5, 4|4, all the way down to 0|0.
- If nobody gets a double at all, shake again.
- After you win a hand, you lead the next one, and you can lead any tile you like.
โ Playing a tile
- Match a number on your tile to an open end on the table.
- Can't play? Draw from the boneyard until you can. If the boneyard is empty, you pass.
โ๏ธ The spinner
- The first double played becomes the spinner. It stands across the line like a cross.
- Once both of its main sides have tiles, it opens up and down too. That's four ends to play on.
- There is only one spinner per hand. Every other double lies across the line and opens nothing, even a 6|6 that shows up later.
๐ฐ Scoring while you play
After your tile goes down, add up the open ends. If the total is 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30, you score it right away.
- A double at an end counts both halves. [6|6] alone = 12
- A first tile alone counts both halves too. [2|3] alone = 5 โ
scores 5
- An empty side of the spinner counts 0. [2|6] [6|6] [6|3] = 2 + 3 = 5 โ
๐ Winning a hand
- Play your last tile and you score what your opponent is still holding, rounded to the nearest 5.
- Locked? If nobody can play, the player holding the lowest count wins and scores the other player's whole count, rounded. you hold 11, they hold 21 โ you score 20
- Same count when it locks? It's a tie and nobody scores.
- After a lock, the next hand starts fresh: shake again, and the highest double leads.
๐ข Rounding
Hand counts round to the nearest 5. 0โ2 = 0 ยท 3โ7 = 5 ยท 8โ12 = 10
๐ Winning the game
The game ends the moment someone reaches 150. It ends right then, even in the middle of a hand. Nobody plays on.
๐ Tile backs
- You pick the back of your own tiles. Press Change above the table. Your opponent sees your pick on your face-down hand โ that's the whole point of it.
- The faces never change. Every domino in the game has the same moon-white face and the same navy pips, so pips are always fast to count.
- The ๐ house mark is the free default, and the boneyard always wears it.
- The Epic and Legendary backs are real public-domain photographs โ Apollo and the Galileo spacecraft. Nothing is locked yet.
โก The table
- Drag a tile onto a glowing end, or tap it. The table shows what each play will score.
- When you score, everyone sees your +5 before they move.
- There's no turn clock. Take your time. But if you leave the table for 3 minutes, you forfeit.
